New York City by Vivienne Gucwa

Upon my return from the Big Apple, I decided to look into some great urban photography of the beautiful and inspiring city. I found this collection by Vivienne Gucwa on a gallery website and was instantly taken by the beauty - the angles, the colors and the mood.

22 Unbelieveable Places That Are Hard to Beleive Really Exist

My brother showed me this collection of photos on Bored Panda and thought they were really interesting. Some of the places I have already heard of or seen pictures of, but some are totally new to me, and all of the photographs are amazing. I've posted a few of my favorites, but check out the entire collection here.

James Meakin

There is something about putting high fashion in unexpected settings that has always pleased me. The contrast between luscious garments and earthy, rocky, plain, or even dirty backgrounds is so pleasing to the eye. I came across some photographs by James Meakin on Trendland and was instantly taken by the beauty, lines and contrast. So I looked up his portfolio website and now I am hooked.

Luis Monteiro

I was just introduced (through the miracles of the world wide web) to the photographic genius that is Luis Monteiro. I came across this first shot of the model with giant balloons and fell in love with his work immediately (only to be even more satisfied when I found his portfolio website). Here are a couple of jems from a shoot he did for Tatler Magazine UK.

World of Water

Macro photography can be really beautiful if done right. Check out this slideshow I found on MSN Photos called World of Water
